Godeok Raemian Hillstate is a large-scale residential redevelopment project reconstructing the former Godeok Shiyeong Apartment Complex, jointly developed by Samsung C&T and Hyundai Engineering & Construction to create a new community of approximately 3,850 residential units. Y Group led the overall design direction of the project in an integrated manner, encompassing site planning, façade design, and residential product strategy, with a focus on elevating the architectural quality of large-scale housing development.

The planning strategy sought to balance urban order with a comfortable residential environment within a high-density complex. Careful consideration was given to building placement, façade articulation, views and daylight, pedestrian circulation, and the relationship between residential and community spaces, resulting in a highly refined spatial composition across the entire development.

Particular emphasis was placed on strengthening design competitiveness—an increasingly critical factor in contemporary urban redevelopment projects—which contributed to a successful permitting process and the securing of various development incentives. Following strong sales performance, the complex established itself as one of Gangdong’s representative premium residential communities.
