암벽 위에 자리한 건축, 르오네뜨 CC 호텔 & 콘도미니엄

르오네뜨 CC 호텔 & 콘도미니엄은 전라남도 곡성에 새롭게 조성된 골프 리조트의 핵심 숙박시설로, 남해종합건설과 함께 오랜 기간 준비해온 프로젝트이다. 골프코스와 클럽하우스, 호텔과 콘도미니엄이 하나의 경험으로 연결되는 통합 리조트 환경을 목표로 계획했다.

대지는 골프코스와 맞닿은 암벽 위에 위치한다. 넓게 펼쳐진 곡성의 산세와 골프코스를 동시에 조망할 수 있는 입지로 자연 지형이 만들어낸 독특한 풍경이 이 프로젝트의 가장 중요한 출발점이었다.

설계 과정에서 가장 중요하게 고려한 것은 자연과 건축의 균형이었다. 건축이 풍경을 압도하기보다 자연을 더욱 선명하게 경험할 수 있도록 돕는 매개체가 되어야 한다고 생각했다. 이에 과도한 조형적 표현을 지양하고 절제된 건축 언어와 단순한 기하학적 구성을 통해 주변 환경과 조화를 이루고자 했다.

건축은 이용자의 경험을 중심으로 계획했다. 객실은 각기 다른 방향의 풍경을 최대한 담아낼 수 있도록 배치했으며 로비와 레스토랑, 사우나, 휴게공간 등 주요 공용시설 역시 자연과 시각적으로 연결되도록 구성했다. 내부 동선은 직관적이고 명료하게 정리하여 이용자가 공간을 자연스럽게 경험할 수 있도록 했다. 시간이 흐른 뒤에도 방문객들이 이 풍경과 공간을 기억하며 다시 찾고 싶은 리조트로 남기를 기대한다.

Architecture on the Cliff, Le Onette CC Hotel & Condominium

Le HONNETE CC Hotel & Condominium is the primary accommodation facility within a newly developed golf resort in Gokseong, Jeollanam-do, South Korea. Developed in collaboration with Namhae Construction, the project was conceived as an integrated resort environment where the golf course, clubhouse, hotel, and condominium come together as a seamless experience.

The site is positioned atop a rocky cliff adjacent to the golf course, offering expansive views of Gokseong's mountain landscape and fairways. This distinctive setting, shaped by the natural topography, became the fundamental point of departure for the design.

One of the principal considerations throughout the design process was establishing a balanced relationship between architecture and nature. Rather than competing with the landscape, the architecture was envisioned as a framework through which the surrounding environment could be experienced more vividly. To achieve this, the design adopts a restrained architectural language and simple geometric forms, allowing the natural scenery to remain the dominant presence.

The project was planned around the experience of its guests. Guest rooms were carefully positioned to maximize views in different directions, while shared amenities including the lobby, restaurant, sauna, and lounge spaces were designed to maintain a strong visual connection with the landscape. Internal circulation was organized with clarity and simplicity, enabling visitors to move through the building intuitively and engage with the surrounding environment in a natural way.

Le HONNETE CC Hotel & Condominium aspires to be more than a place of accommodation. It is conceived as a destination where architecture and landscape work together to create a memorable experience of staying in nature. It is hoped that, over time, visitors will continue to return, carrying with them lasting memories of both the place and its scenery.
